“COVID 19 sounds a lot like an evil Santa Claus, who works in reverse. He sees you when you’re sleeping and not “woke” to the new norm. If you’re naughty and don’t wear your mask, observe social distancing, obsessively wash your hands, and avoid gatherings of specific sizes, then he comes and gifts you with a virus – made in China.
“Do you believe it? I don’t deny the reality of the virus. St. Nicholas was real, too. But I’m not buying the narrative surrounding the virus any more than I believe the story of a real Santa Claus that brings gifts to good boys and girls in one night around the world.
“‘Wisdom is justified of her children’ (Matthew 11:19). I believe we’re being played by Grinches, who object to our unalienable rights and would rob us blind.”
