Dr. Creech has represented conservative evangelicals in the state’s halls of power for 24 years.

Book Signing with Mary Frances Forrester on Monday

On Monday, there will be a book signing at the Christian Action League’s booth with Mary Frances Forrester, the author of For Such a Time as This. The signing will start after noon time. Forrester is the widow of the late N.C. Senator Jim Forrester, champion of North Carolina’s constitutional amendment that defined marriage as one man and one woman. The amendment overwhelmingly passed 61% to 39% in 2012.  Still, one rogue federal judge knocked it down as unconstitutional, just as five rogue judges on the U.S. Supreme Court did to similar amendments in 30 other states. Their rulings were acts of judicial tyranny.

“The book is an essential work by Mrs. Forrester, which tells the remarkable story of the history of the marriage amendment to our state’s constitution. Every Christian who believes in traditional marriage needs to know exactly what happened and how same-sex marriage illegitimately became legal,” said Rev. Mark Creech, executive director of the Christian Action League. “The campaign for traditional marriage was smeared and disparaged, and so were people like Jim Forrester who worked to save marriage. Many of us, who were a part of that effort, were threatened with violence and even death. Forrester’s book tells the truth and nothing but the truth about all of it. Every Christian home needs to have a copy of this book because it’s also about how to face personal and public opposition with grit, determination, and grace. Moreover, every church library should have a copy of this book available for its members.”

Book Signing with John K. Amanchukwu, Sr. on Tuesday

John Amanchukwu Sr. is the author of “ERACED.” As a black man in America, he’s uniquely positioned to call out the racism of the left, repackaged as abortion and critical race theory. Tucked in the Old Testament book of Isaiah is a warning meant for ancient Judah, but it might as well have been written for twenty-first-century America: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20).

Abortion and critical race theory are twin evils born of the same diabolical monster: racism. And yet, many in the church want to call them good, even as America begins to unravel under their influence. In “ERACED,” John Amanchukwu Sr. dispels the myths surrounding abortion and critical race theory and uncovers the Left’s sinister plot to destroy the Black community and divide the church. Along the way, he brings to light important gospel truths to help all believers learn to think biblically about some of the most important and explosive issues of our day.

Come and visit the booth of the Christian Action League for these book signings on Monday and Tuesday, where you can get a personalized signed copy of For Such a Time as This, or ERACED.
