Blast From the Past

Many may be unaware, but before the Christian Action League became the Christian Action League, it was originally known as the Allied Church League. Its mission was to combat the liquor traffic in the Tar Heel State.

Recently, while the Christian Action League was moving its office, it discovered some old editions of To-morrow magazine – a publication of the Allied Church League in North Carolina. Some rich information and articles were found in these publications that in future editions of our Weekly Issues Update, we thought you might want to see.

Here’s an editorial cartoon from the November, 1954 edition of To-morrow. Amazingly, its truth then is just as relevant today. Click here
