After speaking to a committee in the North Carolina General Assembly or posting an editorial or article on marijuana, people will tell me that I am ignorant on the subject and need to get educated. But I am well-educated on the use of cannabis; I’m just not indoctrinated in marijuana mythology. In fact, I think it’s essential to educate politicians and the public on the truth about the legalization of marijuana, whether we’re talking about medical or recreational.
The following documentary by the Drug-Free Idaho Coalition provides an easy-to-understand, honest presentation that challenges common assumptions about marijuana use. It shows how marijuana normalization actually impacts communities. It’s an hour in length, but it’s well worth the time for lawmakers, parents, teachers, pastors, and especially Citizen Christians to take the time to watch. It’s titled Chronic State.
