Dearest Friends,
Many years ago my grandfather had a “smoke house” with many hams hanging from the rafters. One day he was showing the local preacher the “smoke house” when the cleric said, “Brother, I believe God is telling me that he wants you to give me one of those fine hams.” Without missing a beat my grandfather responded, “Well now pastor, just as soon as I hear from the Lord on the matter, I’ll be sure to oblige ya.”
Please forgive me if I am too presumptuous, but the needs of the Christian Action League remain critical and we still need help. Many people have graciously responded to our calls for assistance and we have made significant ground in clearing out our crushing debt load. However, we are not out of the woods yet. Down from $30,000 at the first of October, we now need just under $18,000 to keep this boat afloat.
Let me say that again, we still need $18,000 to once again regain our financial footing.
May I humbly ask, “Have you heard from the Lord on this matter?” Has he spoken to you on the matter of sharing a gift, perhaps even a substantial contribution, to help this ministry survive its current financial struggle?

Here at the office of the Christian Action League we continue to barrage heaven in prayer, asking the Lord to raise up people who will help keep this ministry going as a moral compass to public-policy makers, more specifically, our lawmakers in the North Carolina General Assembly.
We have never embellished the matter and this is not a fundraising ploy, if we cannot clear out this entire debt, we will be forced to suspend operations. We are halfway home, could you help us get the rest of the way?
Will you stop, right now, and ask the Lord what he would have you do in response to our urgent plea?
