“I understand that going to church via social media has provided new opportunities during the pandemic for reaching people. Praise the Lord! But I don’t care what anyone says, going to church by radio, television, your personal computer, or a smart phone is not really going to church. The Scripture commands we assemble together. There must be corporate personal interaction in worship – praying together – singing the great hymns together – hearing the Word of God proclaimed together. Anything else is like kissing your girlfriend or your spouse over the telephone. It’s not the same, neither does it have the same effect. For heaven’s sake, go back to church!”
